Studio Clark was founded on an appreciation for presence and tactility.
In the studio, we are drawn to the decadence of the physical world: the
weight of a stone in hand, the luminescent surface of a pearl, the rhythm of making.
Every Studio Clark piece is thoughtfully composed and made by hand, with close
attention to material and proportion.
An obsession with craft and durability became a guiding principle of the studio
from the beginning. We believe jewelry should be made to live with you, not
simply pass through a season. Our beaded pieces are strung on 100% silk thread
and individually hand-knotted between each bead, a traditional technique that
creates a beautiful, fluid drape and adds strength and security to the finished
piece. Each chainmail piece is carefully hand-woven. These practices take
patience and time, resulting in one-of-a-kind objects that have been loved and
cared for before they’ve ever been worn.
Material integrity matters just as much as construction. Studio Clark
jewelry is plastic-free and made entirely from natural materials. We work with
genuine stone beads, freshwater pearls, pure silk thread, sterling silver and
stainless steel, allowing the inherent character of each material to remain
part of the design.
The result is jewelry that has been thoughtfully considered. Pieces to
collect slowly, keep close, and love for years.
Care Instructions
Hand-knotted silk jewelry should be protected from moisture, pulling, and stretching. Store each strand flat or loosely coiled to preserve the silk, knots, and overall shape.
Sterling silver naturally develops a soft patina over time. Keep it dry, store it in an airtight place, and gently polish it with a soft silver cloth as needed to restore its shine.
Freshwater pearls are delicate and naturally porous, so avoid contact with water, perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals.
Gently wipe them with a soft cloth after wearing and store them
separately to protect their luster.
Return policy
We want you to love your Studio Clark piece.
Unworn items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund.
Returned pieces must be in their original condition, free from wear, damage, or alteration, and returned with their original packaging.
Custom and made-to-order pieces are created specifically for you and are not eligible for return.
To initiate a return, please contact us before sending your item back so we can provide return instructions.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping charges, if applicable, are non-refundable.
Because each Studio Clark piece is made by hand, we reserve the right to decline returns that show signs of wear, damage, alteration, or improper care.
Warranty
Studio Clark jewelry is made by hand with durability and longevity in
mind, and we stand behind the craftsmanship of every piece.
If your jewelry experiences an unexpected break or construction failure
during normal wear within one year of purchase, we will repair the piece at no
charge. If repair is not possible, we will replace it with the same piece when
available or offer an appropriate alternative.
Our warranty covers defects in materials or craftsmanship and unexpected
failure during normal wear. It does not cover damage resulting from accidents,
improper care, misuse, impact, snagging, excessive force, exposure to chemicals
or water contrary to our care recommendations, normal surface wear or
tarnishing, or loss of the piece or its components.
Because natural stones and freshwater pearls are inherently unique,
variations in color, shape, texture, and surface characteristics are not
considered defects.
If you believe your piece qualifies for warranty service, please contact
us with your order information and photographs of the jewelry so we can
determine the best way to make it right.
Repairs
Jewelry is meant to be worn, and well-loved pieces may occasionally need
attention over time. When possible, Studio Clark is happy to repair pieces
outside of the one-year warranty for a repair fee. Availability and pricing will depend on the nature of the repair and the materials required.
